Celebrate
At Keene Valley Congregational Church, we honor life’s milestones with joy, reverence, and authenticity. Whether you're welcoming new life, committing in love, grieving a loss, or embracing your true identity, we are here to walk with you. Each celebration is thoughtfully crafted to reflect your story, grounded in our Christian tradition and guided by love.
Baptisms
Baptism is offered for all ages. It is the celebration of the gift of life and inclusion in the Christian community.
Baptisms are usually performed during a Sunday morning service for children or adults. We baptize in a trinitarian formula and your baptism is recognized by the vast majority of Christian denominations.
Weddings
We celebrate the sacred covenant of marriage with ceremonies that honor your love and reflect your values, including affirming unions of all couples.
We invite members and non-members to use our Sanctuary and Minister for your wedding. You may also bring in a celebrant upon approval by our minister.
Memorial Services
In times of loss, we offer compassionate memorials that honor the life and spirit of your loved one with tenderness, hope, and grace.
We make our Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall available for members and non-member funerals and memorials using our Minister or another of your choice. For information and fee schedule please contact our office.
Name Change Celebrations
For those who are transitioning, we offer affirming name change ceremonies that honor the sacredness of identity and celebrate becoming who God has lovingly created you to be.
